About the event

Design.To.Alex is a design-focused weekend involving the design community of Cairo and Alexandria. The second volume of Design.To.Alex aims to highlight the design scene in Alexandria and establish a wider network of connections in the industry between both cities.

A curated exhibition at Aghion Building will adopt an artistic direction to display designs from materials, furniture, lighting, accessories from suppliers from Cairo and Alexandria. Side events will be held including an architecture tour in Downtown, community breakfasts, design talks, and workshops to bridge the gap between the cities.

Design.To.Alex is dedicated to the loving memory of Dr. Salah Hareedy and Eng. Michael Sadek, whom we’ve experienced the unfortunate loss of. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts - they have both stamped their excellence and legacy on the industry in many ways and we can only hope to carry it on. May their souls rest in eternal peace.
