Alia El Tanani

Bio

Alia El Tanani is an Egyptian raised, internationally acclaimed creative who was born in Alexandria, to an American mother and an Egyptian father. Stemming from a young age, her fascination with the realm of design led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Helwan University in Cairo. But before she would go on to complete her degree, Alia decided to leave Cairo and went on to spend the next 2 years broadening her horizons at the Modesto College in San Francisco. Having completed her studies abroad, she returned to Egypt and finished her degree, eager to manifest the various concepts that fueled her imagination. But in order to bring them into reality, she needed a business partner. Someone who would compliment her creativity with a drive for excellence and a thorough knowledge of what it took to do business in Egypt. By destiny, she met her first business partner, who soon turned out to be her last, as she married Ashraf El Tanani; a then up-and-coming businessman with a vision and a Master’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from Germany.
