About
Eng. Heba Elkalyoubi is a registered architect in Egypt & France, with over 14 years of professional experience locally & internationally.
Starting her architecture studies at the University of Texas at Austin SOA and topping them with a Master of Architecture (Grenoble, 2006), Heba oriented her research toward bioclimatic architecture and energy-saving design.
Heba taught many architecture & interior design courses in the French University in Egypt & Dar Al Hekma University in Saudi Arabia. Before launching her own practice, Heba worked for many years under the close supervision of award-winning architects such as Paris-based Pascal Rollet & Michel Guthmann, Beirut-based Michel Khallouf, and Cairo-based Shahira Fahmy. As part of her work responsibilities, she successfully delivered projects for some of the world's leading developers & retail chains including Orascom, Sodic & Ikea, before establishing Heba Kalyoubi Architecture in Cairo in 2013. HKA specializes in passive solar architecture & modern interior design.
Heba’s expertise lies in her ability to combine spatial requirements with an exuberant passion for engineering & interior design, inspired by the Parisian sense of indulgence, mixing elegance & practicality. Heba has been on the jury panel of the international architectural competition launched by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and presided by the French Ambassador in Cairo, to assist in the selection of the finalists of Lycée Français du Caire Maadi Campus extension in 2018.
