Mahinaz ELMESSIRY an Egyptian Artist and Interior designer started up her career in Paris, where she studied Arts at (Ecole du Louvre) and Interior design at (Greta des Arts Appliqués). For 4 years she executed several interior designing projects in Paris.
Back in Egypt in 2001, inspired by her different trips around the world she continued her career as an interior designer with a new approach and philosophy. She executed different projects in houses, apartments, shops and companies.
8 years ago, inspired by the ethnicity and Culture of the different regions in Egypt, she started developing her own home accessories line, while creating several collections representing different regions around Egypt. She believes that the Egyptian heritage should be documented and present in every Egyptian house. Those collections are presenting the heritage in a modernised and practical way, manifested by beautiful, artistic decorative pieces.
Her collections were displayed in many countries, cities around the world among them London and Paris.
She worked with different NGOs in order to ameliorate their designs and their collections. She gave also counseling sessions to women in NGOs about design, production and marketing.
