About
Mahmoud El-Awad is an Egyptian architect and Interior designer. He established his studio, Amar Ya Misr- Mahmoud El-Awad Designs, in 2014 after he had graduated in 2010 from Port Said University. At AUC in 2014, he completed his study in interior design.
In childhood, he visited many of Cairo's museums and monuments, saw the greatness of the Pharaonic civilization, was impressed by it in Luxor and Aswan, and fell in love with his unique coastal environment in Port Said.
He is also passionate about architecture in Egypt throughout the different eras.
Man, his environment, his needs, and his connection with nature are the fuel in his design development process. He believes in the psychological influence of design on individual and community lives as well as the affirmation of identity in all kinds of design with his passion for merging between originality and contemporary.
