BIO
An architect graduated in 2007 from Cairo University where I held a teaching and research position for the following 3 years. I got my Master of Science degree in Building Technology and pursued a design career with Shahira Fahmy Architects from 2008 to end of 2013.
Upon receiving the Hassan Fathy Design Award (2013), I started acquiring projects as a freelancer until I started my practice “Grids Architects” in 2017. Grids Architects has been recognized in Cairo Design Award for 2 consecutive years 2017 and 2018 and most recently DNA Paris Design Award for architecture 2019.
During the Covid19 pandemic, I have joined Esorus as partner and together with Dalia Laz we have developed design.to.go initiative. Our main goal is to raise awareness on Professional Interior Design Value, connect the community and create digital solutions to link the Industry's stakeholders.
